Lord, whom
have I in Heaven but thee, and there is none on earth I desire
beside thee, who could light a fire inside me, a cleansing
flame, eternal, yet always the same. Lord, upon whom shall I
call during life’s trials; when its rain starts to fall and its
waves beat a while, only thee Lord, my tower and refuge, save by
thy power from life’s deluge and Lord at life’s end, when the
sun sets low, and the floods subside, let my knee at thy throne
bend low where peaceful eternity abides. ~ Anthony A.
