Billie
Dee Broome, age 69, of Kermit,
passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in
Odessa. She was born Saturday, June 10, 1933 in Pampa, TX to the late
Ted and Juanita (Harrell) Edmondson. On June 19, 1954, she married
Thomas Lee Broome in Jal, NM. He preceded her in death in 1991. They
are now reunited in the house of the Lord.
A loving and
devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Billie had resided in Kermit for
50 years. She worked as a dietician at the hospital cafeteria and was a
member of the Church of God in Kermit.
She is survived by her Three Daughters: Nita Anne Clements of Eunice,
NM, Gwen Ballard of Pasadena, Texas, and Brenda Barron of Wink, Texas;
Three Sons: Teddy Joe Frie of Wink, Texas, William Thomas Broome of
Fairview, Kansas and Thomas Elvin Broome of Kermit, Texas; One Brother:
Ted Edmondson of Bedford, Texas; Thirteen grandchildren: Tracey
Mitchell, Shawna Barron, Billie Nell Kniseley, Kelly Frie, Brandy
McKinzie, Bobby Joe Broome, Jennifer Broome, Jackie Broome, Tommy Joe
Frie, Timothy Clements, Shane Barron and Carla Broome and Fourteen
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, William Thomas Broome.
Pallbearers are Teddy Joe Frie, Tommy Frie, Joey Clements, Tim
Clements, Marshall Mitchell and Shane Barron. Honorary Pallbearer is
William Thomas Broome.
Funeral service is scheduled at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 28, 2003 at
Family Services Funeral Chapel with Pastor Eddie Cotton officiating.
Interment will be follow at Kermit Cemetery in Kermit.

Leaman Williams |
Robert
Leaman Williams, age 86, of Kermit,
passed away Monday, March 31, 2003, at the Kermit Healthcare Center. A
ten year resident of Kermit, he was born Thursday, June 29, 1916 in
Memphis, TX to the late W.E. Williams and Sudie Francis Apple. He was a
retired manufacturer in the aerospace industry and a member of the
First Baptist Church.
Robert served as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force during World War II,
he also served in the Navy.
He is survived by his three Daughters: Ottie Francis Dollins of
Glenheights, TX, Susan Neighbors of Healdton, OK, and Rose Smith of
Canyon, TX; One Son: Robert Michael Williams of England; One Sister:
Roselyn Williams of Kermit; One niece: Suetta Lemmon of Kermit; One
nephew: J. Richard Lemmon of Dallas. Seven Grandchildren; Seven
Great-Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He is also
survived by a dearly loved caregiver, Diane Harris.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Jane and by three
daughters, Sandra Latham, Carolyn Williams and Susan Williams.
Pallbearers are Jerry Fullen, Stanley Mulsow, Red Segars, Bill White,
Ken Mays and A. L. Ward.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at
the First Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Reynolds officiating.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 3, 2003
at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX.

Mr. Donald Lee Tomson, loving
husband and dad, departed from his Earth
family to be united with his Heavenly family on Friday, April 4, 2003,
after a brief bout with cancer. He was 69.
Donald was born on Thursday, December 28, 1933, in Saint Joseph,
Missouri, to the late George and Buelah (Hughes) Tomson. He was mayor
of Wink for several years, where he spent his career working for
Chevron Pipeline USA as an Electrical Technician and raising his
family. After living in Colorado for a short time, he returned to West
Texas. Before retiring, he enjoyed managing the Winkler County Pro Shop
and golfing almost daily. As a Christian, he was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Kermit.
Donald married Dorothy Zikuhr on June 10, 1960 in Eagle Lake, TX. He
Served in the U.S. Army
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Tomson of Kermit; a
daughter, Cindy Duke and son-in-law Kevin of Pecos; six grandchildren:
Tye and Trey Edwards and Nathan and Coe Duke of Pecos, and Zachary and
Marissa Tomson of Stamford; a sister, Lucille Alvis of San Angelo; a
sister-in-law Wanda Tomson of Houston and Brandy.
He was preceded in death by his son David Lee Tomson and a brother
Joseph F. Tomson.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at
First United Methodist Church in Kermit with Rev. Beth Harrington
officiating. Interment will follow at Kermit Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
Pallbearers are Jack Marshall, Otis Marshall, Tennis Collins, Sam
Cates, Corey Cates and Howard McKay.

Lara |
Mrs.
Nico Lara, age 69, of Kermit, passed
away Friday, April 18, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Nico
was born Saturday, September 16, 1933 to the late Sylvester and Longina
(Valenzuela) Gomez in Presidio, TX. She married Alvino Lara in 1950 in
Kermit.
Mrs. Lara was a home maker and a resident of Kermit for 60 years and
was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Alvino, of 53 years; One Son: Jose
Gutierrez of Kermit; One Sister: Santos Madrid of Kermit; Five
grandchildren and Fifteen great-grandchildren.
Rosary was held Sunday, April 20, 2003 at Family Services Funeral
Chapel. Mass of Chrisitian Burial was held Monday, April 21, 2003 at
St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment followed at Kermit Cemetery in
Kermit.
Pallbearers were Jose Guiterrez, Ruben Guiterrez, Noah Guiterrez, Jose
Bustamante, Marty Belcourt and Willie Whiteside.

Ester (Lee) Taylor |
Mrs.
Jewell Ester (Lee) Taylor, age 87, passed away Monday morning, April
21, 2003, at Kermit Healthcare Center in Kermit.
A former long-time resident of Sweetwater, Mrs. Taylor had lived in
Wink for the past 10 years. Mrs. Taylor was born Monday, January 31,
1916, in Sweetwater, the daughter of George Washington Lee and Katie
May Sandifer.
Jewell and Truman Taylor were married on August 20, 1934, in Nolan
County, TX. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1977. Jewell and
Truman were organizers of the Central Baptist Church of Sweetwater.
Survivors include one daugher: Mrs. Bill (Margaret) Beckham of Wink;
Nine grandchildren: including Denise Hanna and Deana Tippin, both of
Wink; Tom Beckham of Midland; Tammy Quillicy of Mesquite; and Jim Bob
Taylor, Michael Taylor, Lee Taylor, Crystal Taylor and David
Martindale; Several great-grandchildren: including Jolee Hanna of
Midland, Zach Hanna of Wink and Christen Beckham and Peyton Beckham,
both of Midland.
Pallbearers will be Kelby Robertson, Dale Carman, Jimmy Bisang, Bill
Voyles, Terry Warren and Bud Ware, all of Wink. Honorary pallbearers
will be Larry McCallister, Eldon Price and James Smith, all of Wink;
and Mike Fostel of Kermit.
Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by one daughter, Evelyn Marcelle
Martindale and one son, James Lee Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 23, at
First Baptist Church in Wink with Rev. Gary Redwine, pastor of the
church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories
Cemetery in Sweetwater at 3 pm Wednesday.

Mrs.
Maria Jesus Garcia, age 48, of Kermit,
passed away Sunday, April 20, 2003, in Devine, TX. Mrs. Garcia was born
September 26, 1954 in Pecos, TX to Brigido H. and Jesus M. (Hernandez)
Garcia.
Mrs. Garcia was employed by Kermit Heath Care Center and was a member
of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband Serafin Sanchez; Three Daughters:
Theresa Garcia of Utah, Ruby Sapien of Utah, and Sylvia & Husband
Joel L. Trevino of Andrews; Three Sisters: Ambrosia Luna and Juanita
Garcia both of Dallas, and Leonor Garcia of Phoenix, AZ; Four Brothers:
Jesse H Garcia and Rafael J Garcia both of Kermit, Manuel H Garcia of
Portales, NM and Ernesto Garcia of Andrews; Ten Grandchildren: Briana
Garcia, Emmanuel Christopher Garcia, Michael Anthony Garcia, Dominique
Marie Sapien, Ramon Sapien III, Mia Garcia, Alex Sapien all of Utah,
Ethan Isac Sapien, Joel Louis Trevino Jr., Richard Alexander Trevino
all of Andrews.
Rosary was held at 8:00 PM Thursday, April 24, 2003 at Family Services
Funeral Chapel, with Demetrio Peneda officiating. Mass of Christian
Burial was held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 25, 2003 at St Joseph
Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Waiwood officiating. Interment followed
at Kermit Cemetery.

Tyllere
Jordan Frie, age 6, of Kermit, went
to be with the Angels on Tuesday, April 22, 2003. Little Tyllere was
born Friday, June 28, 1996 in Andrews, Texas to Tommy Joe and Tonya
Renee (Myers) Frie.
This little boy was full of life! He
enjoyed playing basketball and swimming like a fish. He loved
wrestling, especially "Stone Cold Steve Austin" and the super hero
"Spiderman".
Tyllere was a member of the "Explorers" Sunday School Class of the
First United Methodist Church. As well, he enjoyed and regularly
attended Vacation Bible School and Christmas Caroling.
Tyllere was a first grade student at Wink Elementary School.
He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Tonya; One Sister: Kaitlynn,
and One Brother: Teddy all of Kermit. Grandparents: Vickie and Teddy
Frie of Wink; and Bill and Helen Myers of Kermit; Great-Grandparents:
Mary and Lowel Lund of Midland; Agnes Gran of Irene, SD and Glen Myers
of Austin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2003 at the
First United Methodist Church with Pastor Joe Mohler officiating.
Interment will follow at Kermit Cemetery.

Ellen Green |
Mrs.
Mary Ellen (Willey) Green, Age 79, of
Kermit, Texas, passed away after a lengthy illness, Wednesday, April
23, 2003 at her residence in Kermit, Texas. She was born Friday,
September 21, 1923 in Creston, Iowa to Harry F. and Eleanora (Wright)
Willey.
After graduating from Creston High School, she
furthered her education and became a licensed Beautician. Mary Ellen
married James W. Green on September 23, 1944 in Camp Lajune, SC. They
moved to Kermit in 1947 where they enjoyed 50 years of marriage before
his death in 1995.
Mrs. Green was a devout member and secretary of the First United
Methodist Church for 32 years, and retired in 1989.She was active in
the Business& Professional Women’s Club where she was named "Woman
of the Year", and the Women’s division of the Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by Two Daughters: Karen Harris of Midland, Kathleen
Green of Amarillo; One Son: Micheal Green of Amarillo; Two grandsons:
Jimmy Cowper of Amarillo; Christoper Harris of Midland; one
granddaughter: Monica Cossey of Amarillo; and 4 great granddaughters.
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, her brother Harry
Franklin, Jr. and one granddaughter, Kahla Ann Harris.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 2:00 pm, at the
First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Weyant officiating, with
the assistance of Rev. Beth Harrington. Interment will be at Kermit
Cemetery in Kermit, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Family
Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
Pallbearers are Darrell Balmer, Rodney Hayes, Jack Healy, Christopher
Harris, Dennie Hayes and Jimmy Cowper.

Mary
Lee Hughes, age 49, of Monahans,
passed away Monday, May 5, 2003, in Odessa. Mrs Hughes was born October
29, 1953 in Leadwood, MO. A prior resident of Sedgewickville, MO, Mary
moved to Monahans in 1999. She married Gary Eugene Hughes, June 19,
1970 in Easter, MO.
She was the daughter of Carter Counts and Mary Hill and the late Jesse
and Bessie Brewer.
She is survived by her husband Gary; Two Daughters: Trisha Johnson of
Marquand, Mo, Jamie Perry of Monahans; Two Sons: Joe Hughes and Chris
Hughes of Monahans; Six Sisters: Ruth Custer of Monahans, Shirley
Verdin of Florida, Maggie Smithhart and Wanda Milton of Kermit, Mary
Eva Williams of De Soto, Mo, and Christina Harris of Philo, Ill; Six
Brothers: Carol Brewer of Leadwood, Mo, Les Brewer of Sedgewickville,
MO, Joe Henson of Kermit, Billy Ames and Tom Henson of Farmington, MO,
and Lee Henson of Sweetwater, Texas; Three grandchildren: Brooke
Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Billy Perry, and one unborn grandchild
expected.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Carter Counts and Delbert
Brewer.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2003 at Family
Services Funeral Chapel in Kermit with Pastor Chuck Hurst officiating.
Interment will follow at Psalm 23 Cemetery in the Perry Addition in
Kermit. Pallbearers are Steven Smithhart, Donny Perry, Marty Belcourt,
Chris Isbell, JJ Johnson, and Gary Hughes. Honorary Pallbearers are
Chuck Glover, Bobby Custer, George Storey and Steve Laplant.

Paul
Forest, age 70, of Kermit, went to be
with the Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2003. He was born Sunday, February
26, 1933 in Midland, TX to the late Charles and Emily (Hutson) Forest.
Paul married Barbara Holder on April 5, 1957 in Midland. He was a
member of the First Baptist Church and served as the coordinator for
the Winkler County Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry. He was also a
former officer of the Midland and Kermit Police Departments.
Mr. Forest is survived by his wife, Barbara; Mother-in-law: Bertha
Viola Holder of Kermit; Two Daughters: Diane Austin of Kermit and Paula
Hawkins and husband Tommy of Wink; One Son: Don Forest and wife April
of Monahans; Two Sisters: Martha Herrera of Alabama and Etta Petzel of
Columbia,SC; Seven grandchildren and Three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled at 10:00 AM Friday, May 9, 2003 at the
First Baptist Church in Kermit with Reverend Tom Reynolds officiating,
assisted by Reverend G.A. Magee. Interment will follow at Kermit
Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Aaron Forest, Colby Taylor, Ricky Nelson, Kenneth Mays,
Robert McClain and Dennis Taylor. The family requests memorials sent to

Mr.
Eugene D. Heard, Age 82, of Kermit,
Texas passed away Friday, May 9, 2003 at Medical Center Hospital in
Odessa, TX. Mr. Heard was born July 14, 1920 in Cushing, Oklahoma. He
was joined in marriage to Donna Dyne Ferguson in Hobbs, New Mexico on
July 19, 1942 and was blessed with 58 wonderful years of marriage. She
preceded him in death November 14, 2000.
He was the son of the late John Benjamin Heard and Hazel Weston Heard.
Mr. Heard had retired from Shell Pipe Line after a lengthy 51 years,
and he served in the United States Army and was a World War II Veteran.
Mr. Heard is survived by his 2 Daughters, Jyme Carol Cates of Las
Vegas, NV and Peggye Jean Heard of Wink, Texas. Six Grandchildren:
Chris Cates of San Diego, CA, Tim Cates of Las Vegas, NV, Amanda Haring
of Lewisville, TX, Sam, Bear and Ben Haring of Kermit, TX and Three
Great Grandchildren: Jessica, Heather and Ryan all of San Diego, CA.
Graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 11, 2003 at the
Kermit Cemetery in Kermit, Texas with President Billy Riley conducting.
Pallbearers are Chris Cates, Tim Cates, Ben Haring, Sam Haring, Bear
Haring and James Thomas.

Jack
H. Gordon, 80, of Marble Falls, passed
away Sunday, March 2, 2003 at Northwood Health Care Center. He was born
Saturday, January 27, 1923 in Gorman, Texas. He married La Verne
Herring on July 29, 1943 in Wink, Texas. He was a veteran of the United
States Navy, serving with the Seabees from 1943 to1945.
Jack worked for Schlumberger for 15 years, he owned KN Rootbeer in
Edinburg for 10 years, worked for Palmer Steel for 20 years. He retired
to Marble Falls in 1990. During their time in Marble Falls, he and his
wife, LaVerne, ran the kitchen at the VFW on Bingo Night for 5 years.
He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and the Wednesday Morning
Bingo Group at the McDonalds in Wal-Mart.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marble Falls.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne, of Marble Falls; One Daughter:
Jackie Garcia of Houston; Two Sons: Rex Gordon and Rod Gordon both of
San Antonio; Five Granddaughters: Sharla Weindorff, Kim Thrasher, Tami
Beyer, Brooke Gordon and Jasthy Gordon; Four Grandsons: Alan Gordon,
Travis Gordon, Clark Gordon and Zachary Gordon; and Seven Great
Grandchildren: Seth Weindorff, Claire-Marie Weindorff, Ashley Thrasher,
Breanna Gordon, Carter Gordon, Dalton Alexander and Megan Minter.
Graveside Memorial Services are scheduled Friday, June 13, 2003 at
10:00 AM at Kermit Cemetery with Pastor Gene Cannon officiating.
Services are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association.

Carl
Ross Abron, Sr age 85, of Kermit, went
to be with the Lord on Friday, June 13, 2003, at Medical Center
Hospital in Odessa. He was born Wednesday, May 8, 1918 in Long Pine
Community in Upshur Co, TX to Connie and Mamie (Talley) Abron. He
attended Pine Grove Elementary and High Schools.
Carl
entered the service in 1941 and was a Rifle Marksman with the United
States Army until his discharge in 1945. During his tour of duty he
received 3 Overseas Service Bars, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense
Service Medal, American Theater Campaign Medal, Victory Medal,
Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Stars and Service Stripes.
Mr. Abron was a member of the Kermit Downtown Lions Club for 25 years.
He was also a member of the VFW, Mt Carmel Grand Lodge and a leader for
the Boy Scouts of America.
While living in Upshur County, Carl was a member of the Pine Grove
Baptist Church in Ore City, TX. He was a Deacon, Trustee, Usher Board
President and Brotherhood President of the Faith Missionary Baptist
Church in Kermit.
On August 12, 1950, Carl married Dovie Catherine Rockwell in Kermit.
Mr. Abron was a self-employed lawn specialist and had retired from
Winkler County.
He is survived with
lasting memories by his
loving wife Dovie C Abron; Three Daughters: Mary A Morris and husband,
Luther; Norma J Wilson and Debra K Abron all of Odessa; Two Sons: Roy C
Abron and wife, Gail of Fort Worth, TX and Carl R Abron, Jr. of Sumter,
S.C.; Nine Grandchildren: Donna Abron of Cedar Hill, TX, Clifford W
Abron and wife, Onyan of Yokota AB, Japan, Lester D Abron of Ft Worth,
TX, Delecia A Bryant of Austin, TX, Ashanta J Abron of Atlanta, GA,
Kaylin Abron of Columbia, SC, Teresa M Morris, Kendra M Abron Black and
husband Tyron, and Anita L Morris all of Odessa, TX; Three step
grandchildren: Tonya Dyer, George Jackson and Shawn Jackson all of Ft
Worth; Two Sisters: Lena Johnson and Clydie Harper both of Ore City, TX
; Daughter-in-law: Govella Abron of Andrews, TX; Thirteen
great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, cousins, other relatives and
friends.
Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church
located at 400 E. Bryan in Kermit at 11:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2003
with Rev. H. A. Bowens officiating, assisted by Rev. B. J. Neal.
Interment will follow at Kermit Cemetery in Kermit, TX with military
honors. Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor of
Kermit.
Pall Bearers are Roy Abron, Carl Abron, Jr, Luther Morris, Sam Abron,
Clifford Abron, Lester Abron, Tyron Black, Parnell Skinner and Ashanta

Carl is preceded in death by three brothers: Leroy Abron, Jimmy Abron

Jo Waller, age 42, of Jal, NM, passed
away Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Memorial Hospital in Kermit, TX. She
was born Tuesday, January 31, 1961 in Leesburg, Ohio to Robert and
Jeanne (Ramsey) Dodds.
Kelly graduated from Mount St Joseph College in Cincinnati, OH to
become a Registered Nurse.
She is survived by her two Sons: Kyle and Casey Thames of Jal; her
father: Robert “Bob” Dodds of Leesburg, Ohio and two Brothers: Mike and
wife, Kathy Dodds of Arlington, Texas and Pat and wife, Jill Dodds of
Wilmington, Ohio.
Graveside servicesare scheduled at 2:00 PM, MST, Wednesday, June 25,
2003 at Jal Cemetery in Jal, NM with Pastor Tim Duncan officiating.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Jeanne Dodds; her first
husband: Warner Rex Thames and her second husband: Joe Waller

Laurie Jackson, age 89, of Kermit,
Texas, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2003, at her residence in Kermit.
She was born Friday, May 29, 1914 in Benhur, Texas to the late William
Oscar and Lavonne (Douglas) Fife.
A homemaker, Annie had
been a resident of Kermit since 1950, having moved here from Clay City,
Illinois. She married Royce Claude Jackson on September 27, 1937 in
Mexia, Texas and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her Daughter: Joyce Ann Munn of Kermit, TX; One
Sister: Ruby Williams of Fort Worth, TX; Two grandchildren: Lisa Ann
Huffman of Catawba, NC and Taresa Kellogg of Midland, TX; and Four
great-grandchildren: Meaghan Huffman, Hailey Huffman, Cameron Huffman
and Danyale Kellogg.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are
entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit, TX.
Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Royce; her son-in-law,
Joseph H Munn, Jr; and one sister, Jane Wilson.

was born Friday, September 1, 1933 in Sena, NM to the late Modesto and
Theresa
de Jesus (Lucero) Garcia. She was one of a large family of twenty-one
children.
Virginia
united in marriage
to Gregorio D Moya, Sr. on July 28, 1950 at the Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in
El Paso, TX. To this union thirteen wonderful, loving children were
born.
Mrs.
Moya was a homemaker
and a member of the Catholic Church.
She
leaves behind to cherish
her memory her husband of almost 53 years, Gregorio, of Wink; Three

Mrs.
Pearl Pauline (Buckner) Dunn, age 87,
of Kermit, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Medical Center
Hospital in Odessa, Texas. She entered this life on Saturday, May 20,
1916 in Bosque County, TX to the late Daniel and Cora Bell Buckner. She
had been a resident of Kermit since 1977, having moved here from
Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal
Church and was active in the Senior Citizens' Center. She was the wife
of the late Oliver L. Dunn. They were married in Garvin County,
Oklahoma on May 12, 1934, and were married for forty-eight wonderful
years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Loretta
Bond of Odessa, Texas and Mrs. Karon Moffett of Las Cruces, NM; three
sons, Mr. Royce Dunn of Kermit, Texas, Mr. Doyle Dunn of Odessa, Texas,
and Mr. Alton Dunn of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Robbie Mills of
Las Cruces, NM; one brother, Mr. Leon Buckner of Virginia Beach, Va.
She had eleven grandchildren. Her granddaughters are Cheryl Hudson,
Sharon Clary, Brenda Clemmer, Janette Jennings, Jana Huff, and Jennifer
Moffett. Her grandsons are Douglas Dunn, Kendal Bond, Leslie Bond,
Randall Dunn, and Brenton Dunn. She had twenty-two great-grandchildren
and seven great-great grandchildren.
Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Services were held on Monday, July 7th at 2:00 pm at the First United
Pentecostal Church with Rev. Roy Walls officiating, assisted by Rev.
J.L. Lewis of El Paso, Texas.
Pallbearer and honorary pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons.
Interment was held at
Kermit Cemetery in
Kermit, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral
Parlor, Kermit, Texas.

Bobby
Eugene Kidd, age 39, passed away
Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Bobby
entered this life on Monday, May 11, 1964 in Austin, Texas. He was the
son of Vann Millege and Manuela (Herrera) Kidd Sr. He was a lifetime
resident of Kermit, and a graduate of Kermit High School.
His brothers; Vann Millege Kidd, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Jal, New Mexico
and Rick Kidd and wife Belinda of Kermit, survive Mr. Kidd. Other
survivors include two nephews, Brenton Kidd of Kermit and Erick Kidd
and wife Jennifer of Jal, New Mexico as well as a host of other
relatives and friends.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vann Millege Kidd, Sr, preceded him in death.
Memorial Services were held at Family Service Funeral Parlor on
Tuesday, July 8th at 2:00pm with minister, Brian McGonagill
officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral
Parlor of Kermit, Texas.
